What this site is
theranchersguide.com is an independent, fan-made guide website for The Ranchers — the open-world ranch life sim developed by RedPilz Studio and published by Trophy Games, entering Steam Early Access on July 31, 2026. We build the things we wanted as players: clear beginner guides, honest money-making frameworks, searchable crop and animal databases, and a profit calculator that ranks anything by profit per in-game day.
How we write our guides
Our content philosophy is simple: never invent numbers. The Ranchers launches in Early Access on July 31, 2026 — until then, everything on this site is built from the free demo, official developer updates, and clearly-labeled genre knowledge. Data pages carry explicit "demo data, pending launch confirmation" flags, and strategy pages teach frameworks that hold regardless of final balancing.
Our launch-day promise: when Early Access goes live, we will verify every price, growth time, and production cycle in-game and update the databases within hours, so this site becomes accurate at exactly the moment players start searching.
Who it's for
Solo ranchers planning their first week, and 1–4 player co-op crews who want to split the work instead of duplicating it. If that's you, start with the beginner's guide.
