Enter any crop or animal's numbers and instantly rank your options by profit per in-game day — a core baseline metric for comparing recurring returns. Entries are saved in your browser, so your list is waiting when you come back. The theory behind the math is in the money-making guide.
Early Access data rule: Use values observed in your current game version. Record quality, sale channel, and recurring costs separately; patches can change a correct result without changing the formula.
Add your first crop or animal on the left. Entries are ranked by profit per in-game day.
How the math works
Crops: profit/day = (sell price × yield − seed cost) ÷ growth days, multiplied by your number of plots.
Animals: profit/day = (product price × products per cycle − feed/upkeep per cycle) ÷ cycle days, multiplied by herd size.
Entries are ranked highest to lowest; the leader gets a gold frame. Negative results (costs exceed revenue) are flagged in red.
How to collect comparable inputs
Record the game version, item quality, and sale destination with every price.
For crops, measure occupied days and yield from an unmodified control plot.
For animals, include feed and recurring upkeep for the same production cycle.
Re-enter an item after a balance patch or when a new selling channel changes net revenue.
Use the money-making guide for startup-cost and labor comparisons that this simple ranking does not include.
